CHILDREN & Family Ministry

Our youngest members are the future of the church! In addition to attending worship services with their families, children in Pre-K through 6th grade are encouraged to attend Sunday School classes (Sundays at 9:15 AM) and our Midweek program (Wednesdays beginning at 5:15 PM) for fellowship, worship, classes, and children’s choir.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is for students entering Kindergarten through 5th grade. It is held annually in June. For more information, visit our SUMMER MINSTRIES page.

We also hold multiple fellowship and outreach events throughout the year that are specifically aimed at children and families.

Youth Ministry

In addition to weekly worship and Sunday School/Midweek opportunities for CHRISTIAN EDUCATION, students can join us for youth ministry events beginning as early as 4th grade!

JR. YOUTH (4TH, 5TH, 6TH GRADE)

  • We typically meet at church at 4 PM on the second and fourth Sundays of each month for fellowship and a devotion or Bible study.

YOUTH GROUP
(7TH THROUGH 12TH GRADE)

  • We typically meet at church at 5:15 PM on the second and fourth Sundays of the month for fellowship and a devotion or Bible study.

YOUTH GATHERINGS, RETREATS, AND MORE

  • Youth have the opportunity to join us for different events outside of our congregation, such as Middle School Huddle, Confirmation Retreat, Kansas District Youth Gathering, LCMS (National) Youth Gathering, camp at Lutheran Valley Retreat (LVR), and more! Fundraising opportunities and scholarships are often available — we don’t want cost to prohibit our youth from participating in these life-changing events!

College and Young Adult Ministry

In addition to worship services and adult Bible study options, college students and young adults (ages 18-25) are encouraged to join this group for fellowship and a devotion or Bible study. We typically meet at 7 PM on the second and fourth Sundays of the month.
